Full of life and activity. Galleries, restaurants and shops. The church is at the top of the road giving the street a spectacular view. Stretching from Laugavegur all the way up to Hallgrímskirkja church, with its old and colourful houses, Skólavörðustíguris is a popular shopping street in Reykjavik.
Further, there is the architecture of the street to be appreciated. Along the street, you can see the architecture of Icelandic shops and also Icelandic homes. Besides the shops along this street and other surrounding streets are full of character, with some having extensive murals and literature painted on them.

GETTING AROUND
This small city is walkable to most everything. Taxis and scooters are readily available.
